“Cher Football Français”, Éditions Hugo Sport

Daniel Riolo is a journalist, author and editorialist, specialising in football. Every evening he presents After Foot on RMC and rmcsport.fr.

After studying law, Daniel Riolo entered a school of journalism (IFP). He began his career as a sports journalist in 1999 in the newsroom of the continuous sports news channel InfoSport.

He joined the debate programme On refait le match on RTL and LCI, then joined RMC in 2006 and appears at the end of every football match on the After Foot programme. From 2007, he became co-host of the After Foot programme broadcast every evening on the channel. Since 2019, he has also taken part in Les Grandes Gueules on RMC, where he appears once a week. He also handles a blog on the RMC Sport website.

Daniel Riolo is the author, among others, of Secrets de Coachs” (2011), Racaille Football Club” (2013) published by Editions Hugo Sport.

In this new book, “Cher Football Français”, published in September 2020, Daniel Riolo has a lot to say about French football. And a few scores to settle. Federation, League, presidents, players… He does it with humour, with punchlines and sliding tackles, but with as much tenderness as talent, in his most personal book.
