IFS Class of 2016: Ten Years On in Paris! 🎉
On September 18th, over 70 alumni from the IFS Class of 2016 gathered under the glass canopy of La Rotonde Stalingrad in Paris to celebrate ten years since graduation! 🥂✨
Former classmates flew in from all over the globe: Los Angeles, London, Dubai, Kabul, Zurich, and every corner of France. The energy in the room proved that the IFS bond is as strong as ever. From catching up over a delicious buffet to striking a pose at the IFS Alumni photobooth, the evening was filled with laughter, nostalgia, and rekindled friendships. 📸🍕

Get to know Our New Principal, Mr. Samuel Jourdan! 🎓
As we wrap up an exciting first month of the school year, we are delighted to feature our Principal, Mr. Samuel Jourdan, who joined the IFS for this new academic year!
Originally from Brittany, Mr. Jourdan developed a strong international mindset early in life while growing up in Morocco and Canada. A former English and FLE teacher, he brings a wealth of experience from France, Mayotte, and the AEFE network, having served as Vice Principal in Shanghai and Head of School in Cape Town. As a father of two children educated within the AEFE system, he has a deep, first-hand appreciation for the richness of our curriculum.
⚡A Dynamic First Month at IFS! Since taking office, Mr. Jourdan hasn’t missed a beat! Over the past few weeks, he has been fully hands-on, welcoming staff and families for the new term, attending the inauguration of the new EIS programme at our Kindergarten, hosting our first Café Parent, connecting with students during French Passerelle breakfasts, and opening the Lion City International University Fair. His strong presence on campus sets a truly inspiring tone for the entire IFS community!✨

Celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival at IFS! 🥮🐰
Our Kindergarten and Elementary students immersed themselves in the magic of the Mid-Autumn Festival! Through a variety of hands-on activities, our young learners discovered the rich traditions, stories, and flavors of this celebration.
From shaping mooncakes and crafting custom decorations to crushing medicinal herbs with mortars like the Jade Rabbit and diving into Chinese folklore, our students developed their artistic skills while fully immersing themselves in this rich tradition.
What makes this approach so special at IFS is that learning goes far beyond books. By celebrating cultural diversity through fun, interactive play, our students don’t just discover a new culture, they also develop crucial manual and cognitive competencies along the way!

The University Fair is not a standalone event, but the first step in an ongoing journey. At IFS, our dedicated Orientation Team works alongside secondary students throughout their high school years, providing continuous support to help them build personalized post-baccalaureate pathways.
