At our school, exceptional teaching is at the heart of student success. That is why our secondary school teachers are continuous learners, sharpening their skills through expert-led professional training with the IFS Academy!

From September 14 to 18, our teaching team participated in intensive training modules led by Frédéric Guilleray, a renowned cognitive science expert, author, and member of the Scientific Council for National Education (CSEN).

Through up to 24 hours of specialized training, our teachers refine their daily practices to help students:

🧠 Build resilient, long-term memory and study habits

As part of this week of educational innovation, our teaching staff also attended an exclusive Cognitive Science Conference, diving even deeper into how the brain learns best.

By equipping our educators with the latest findings from neuroscience and cognitive psychology, we ensure they are at the top of their potential, offering your children an unmatched learning environment.

A Story of Culture, Passion & Belonging: Meet the Yoshii Family! 🇫🇷🇯🇵✨🌍

From Japan to Singapore and onto the courts of the All Japan Jr Squash Championships, 10-year-old Ceon Yoshii and her family share a truly special connection with the International French School (IFS).

Although non-French speakers when they arrived, the Yoshii family chose IFS for its unique cultural bridge, shared values between France and Japan, and the dedicated FLSCO support program that turns language learning into an exciting adventure. 📚❤️

What impressed the Yoshii family most is how IFS actively opens its doors to non-French-speaking students, offering a genuine pathway into the French educational system. Exploring, Learning, and Settling In! 🧭🌿

Starting secondary school is a big step, but our 6th-grade students are already off to a fantastic start!

As part of their Life and Earth Sciences (SVT) curriculum, our students took part in a fun orientation tour around the campus. Guided by Mr. Mercier and his fellow science teachers, they explored their new school environment, marked key locations on a campus map using cardinal points, and located their future classrooms.

Beyond learning how to navigate the campus, this hands-on activity encourages curiosity and scientific observation. Armed with multimeters to measure temperature, light, and humidity around the school, our young scientists got their first taste of field investigation! 🌡️☀️

Most importantly, this initiative also fosters well-being and seamless integration, helping our new middle schoolers feel confident, curious, and fully at home in their new school environment. ✨
