We are pleased to share that our English International Stream (EIS) has been officially granted Candidate Status for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP).*
Launched in September 2026, the stream offers an English-medium pathway designed for children aged 3 to 10 (Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 5), combining French educational foundations with the inquiry-led framework of the IB.
This milestone marks the beginning of an approximately two-year preparation phase as IFS works toward full IB World School authorization.
What Learning Looks Like in the EIS
- No Language Prerequisites: No prior French or English is required to enrol.
- Dual Curriculum: Combines the French National Curriculum’s strong academic foundation with the IB PYP’s inquiry-led framework.
- 70:30 Learning Model: 70% structured literacy and math, paired with 30% child-led inquiry and project-based discovery.
- Language Learning: 3 hours per week of dedicated French or Mandarin instruction.
- Sustainable Facility: Housed in Singapore’s first 100% solar-powered, Zero-Energy Kindergarten with full access to broader campus amenities.
