Education for Sustainable Development Project (EDD) 🌍
During the weeks of November 20 and 27, our CE2 students took part in an awareness project focused on fast fashion and its environmental impact.
Through interactive discussions and activities, students learned what fast fashion is and how it affects our planet. They also explored more responsible alternatives, such as reusing clothes, swapping items, and shopping second-hand, encouraging them to reflect on their own consumption habits.
This project helped our students develop critical thinking and a sense of responsibility, empowering them to become more conscious and sustainable consumers from a young age. ♻️

Christmas Shows 2025: Magical Moments to Close the Year ✨🎄
What a beautiful way to end the year for our kindergarten and primary school students! 💫
Our Christmas shows were filled with emotion, joy, togetherness, and pride — a true celebration of the IFS spirit.
Our students worked with passion and dedication to deliver unforgettable performances for their families 🎭👧👦. These magical moments, shared together, will remain precious memories for everyone.
As the year comes to an end, we reflect on an intense and rewarding term: class projects, the Walkathon, Christmas concerts, and Christmas shows. Every member of our community gave their best 🌟

A Night of Connection, Inspiration & Community ✨
What a pleasure it was to welcome our alumni back to IFS for our Alumni Gathering at the 3C!
Alumni from different graduating classes — from 2014 to 2025 — came together to reconnect over drinks and light refreshments, share memories, and exchange stories about their academic and professional journeys since leaving IFS.
The evening continued with a meaningful moment of exchange between our current IFS students and alumni. Through open and inspiring conversations, our students gained valuable insights into:

Celebrating Intergenerational Connection at IFS 💫
As we come to the end of 2025, the International French School was delighted to welcome members of the Sparkle Care Community Foundation (Senior Care Centre) to our campus as part of a shared project promoting inclusion and community connection.
Our young students filled the school with joy as they sang Christmas songs in French, English, and Mandarin, creating a truly moving moment for our elderly guests. The visit also included a tour of our new campus, with time spent exploring the kindergarten playground, visiting our villas to see our youngest learners in action, and discovering the brand new library.
This beautiful encounter reminded us how powerful it is to bring generations together. Moments like these foster empathy, kindness, and a strong sense of belonging, values that lie at the heart of IFS. Caring for and engaging with our local community enriches everyone involved, young and old alike.

IFS Climbing Team Shines at PROZAP in Ho Chi Minh City! 🧗♂️🏆
Our IFS Climbing Team made us proud once again at the PROZAP Climbing Competition in Ho Chi Minh City! The High School team finished 1st, while Middle School Teams 1 and 2 claimed the top two spots on the podium.
Six IFS teams, each composed of 2 girls and 2 boys, gave their all on 16m high difficulty routes, challenging blocks, acrobatic moves, and speed climbing walls.
With 136 participants from 6 delegations across the region, the competition was intense and spectacular over three action-packed days. A huge thanks to Julie and the entire HCMC team for their warm welcome, flawless organization, and amazing climbing facilities, this second edition was a great success!
Our coaches are incredibly proud: the older students led by example, and the younger ones proved that the next generation of climbers is ready to take over. 👏💪

The International French School is proud to host the 11th edition of CAPN (Coupe d’Asie Pacifique de Natation), a major international swimming championship bringing together young athletes from across the region. From March 23, delegations will arrive at IFS, followed by four days of competition from March 24 to 27, filled with energy, determination, and team spirit.

Magical Reading Moments at Kindergarten! 🎄✨
Our Kindergarten students recently enjoyed two special storytimes… 📚💛
First, they were delighted to be read to by their Elementary School friends, and on another occasion, by Mr. Binan, IFS Principal.
Tiny hands clutched soft cushions, eyes sparkled with wonder, and laughter filled the room as the stories came to life. These moments reminded us of the simple magic of reading and the joy of sharing stories with others. 🎅
Thanks to these special reading sessions, our youngest students develop language skills, imagination, empathy, curiosity, and a lifelong love of books.

This Saturday, Act’IFS (our annual Walkathon) once again brought the IFS community together in the most inspiring way. All the ingredients were there to make it a memorable event:

A Magical Christmas Night at IFS! 🎄🎶
Our Secondary School Choir lit up the Amphitheatre 2900 on Thursday, 4 December, with a heart-warming Christmas Concert that brought music, joy, and holiday spirit to our community.
Beautifully directed by Julie Demange, with the participation of Fran Ho and Rick Smith, the evening showcased the talents of the Chorale du Collège and the Atelier & Option Musique du Lycée. Their voices and performances filled the room with true Christmas magic!
Beyond the music, this concert reflects what we value most at IFS: creativity, unity, and the power of the arts. Singing and performing help students grow in confidence, develop teamwork, and express themselves in meaningful ways.

A Warm Franco-German Christmas Dinner at IFS! ✨🎄
Our Secondary students had the joy of welcoming their peers from @gess_internationalschool for our much-loved annual Franco-German Christmas dinner, a tradition that continues to grow year after year.
🍽️ The evening featured delicious homemade dishes prepared by our chef, with the crowd-favourite tartiflette and an impressive Christmas Yule log. But beyond the food, the highlight was the lively atmosphere created by the students: quizzes, an XXL Kahoot, and conversations entirely in French and German, with English exceptionally banned!
These precious moments of cultural exchange remind us how language learning opens doors, strengthens friendships, and enriches our community. A big bravo to our Terminale German-language students for preparing the activities, and heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to this beautiful event. 🎉
