🌿 Understanding and Preventing Eating Disorders

As part of the CESCE programme (Citizenship and Health Education), our 2nde students attended an important and insightful conference on eating disorders, led by the team from @international_medical_clinic

🎯 The session aimed to:

- Provide a better understanding of the various forms eating disorders can take (anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, etc.)
- Help identify early warning signs
- Encourage open and compassionate dialogue on the topic
- Raise awareness of the risks linked to harmful eating behaviours
- Promote the adoption of a balanced and healthy relationship with food

It was a valuable and engaging session, supporting our students in building informed, respectful attitudes towards their physical and mental health.

🌏 Looking Back at “Territoires d’Asie & d’Océanie” 2025: Images & Words 📸✍️

The 2025 edition of the Territoires d’Asie & d’Océanie competition came to a close with great success, exploring two rich and meaningful themes:
🔹 “Mon pays d’accueil : regards sur le passé” (regional project)
🔹 “Mon pays d’accueil : regards sur un futur durable” (local IFS project)

From CM2 to Terminale, students demonstrated impressive creativity, sensitivity, and engagement, through bilingual photo-and-text entries highlighting memory, identity, and their vision for a more sustainable future.

🎉🔐 Escape Game in Spanish class!
As part of the Spanish curriculum 1ere students explored the pre-Columbian heritage of the Andean countries through a fun and immersive Escape Game.

🗺️ In teams, they solved cultural riddles to unlock the El Dorado treasure chest… and win cinema tickets! 🎟️

Beyond the fun, this activity strengthened key people skills like teamwork, communication, time management, leadership, problem-solving and empathy. 👏
A creative way to learn, connect and grow!

🤝 Cross-Curricular Collaboration : Primary Meets Secondary! 🔢💻
In line with the maths curriculum and the school’s primary–secondary transition programme, a CM2 class recently welcomed a 5e class for a shared learning session.

During this special activity, secondary students introduced their younger peers to programming with Scratch, a fun and educational way to explore coding through creativity and logic.

💡 This peer learning was beneficial for everyone:
– The younger students gained confidence and learned in a more relatable, hands-on way.
– The older students strengthened their understanding by explaining what they had learned, a great way to deepen mastery!

It was a wonderful opportunity to share knowledge, build confidence, and bring the learning community closer together.

🎨 Visual Arts Workshop 🖼️
The end-of-year exhibition for the Visual Arts Workshop is currently on display at the 3C.

✨ This weekly 2-hour workshop offers students the opportunity to further explore visual arts. Some students use this time to build a strong portfolio in preparation for art-based higher education, while others simply wish to continue developing their creativity in High School.

Throughout the year, they’ve worked on personal projects using a wide range of techniques and mediums: sculpture, painting, drawing, and printmaking with materials such as oil pastels, clay, plaster bandage, charcoal, ink, and more.

Take a quick look at some of their work and for the full experience, you still have a few days left to visit the 3C and admire their beautiful creations!

🎭 Two plays, two worlds, one incredible display of talent on stage!

The high school students from the Lycée ‘Option Théâtre’ and ‘Atelier Théâtre Seconde’ delivered an unforgettable performance with two bold and original productions: Amer M. by Joséphine Serre and Les Toilettes by Tristan Choisel..

With Amer M., the students explored themes of identity, memory, and the stories we create to make sense of the world. A poetic and moving investigation, delivered with nuance and emotion.

Les Toilettes took us into an absurd, offbeat world where humour, mystery, and creativity collided in a lively and inventive performance.

🎬 On stage, the students shone with talent and dedication, bringing their characters to life with heart and authenticity.
🎉 They clearly took great pleasure in performing, and we took great pleasure in watching them!

A huge bravo to all the actors, and the team behind the scenes for this beautiful moment of shared theatre. 👏✨
