Our International Section (SI) students at the Collège level achieved excellent results at the island-wide ISLN Red Dot Ceremony, hosted at OWIS Punggol.
Competing in Singapore’s premier English-language literacy competition alongside established institutions like UWC, Tanglin Trust School, and SAS, our students distinguished themselves, and swept the top podium spots for their writing and narration:
#1 Ranking in Reading (Island-wide)
#1 and #2 Rankings in Creative Writing & Oral Performance
1st Place: Rayhane Ayachi (6H)
2nd Place: Maite Crabbe (6H)
What makes this milestone so significant is that our students achieved these top rankings in an exclusively English-language competition, matching and exceeding the performance of peers from monolingual international schools.
This victory is the ultimate proof of bilingualism at its peak.
Congratulations to Rayhane, Maite, and all our participants!
About Red Dot
The Red Dot Book Awards are an annual, student-choice initiative organized by the International School Libraries Network (ISLN) in Singapore to foster a vibrant reading culture across the region’s international schools.
As part of this event, the Red Dot Alternate Book Ending competition tasks students with re-imagining the conclusion of a shortlisted book, writing a new ending, and bringing it to life through a recorded oral performance.
