SAFETY FIRST

Safety on Board the Buses

IFS, in coordination with ComfortDelGro Bus, takes the necessary measures to ensure that both good behaviour and safety rules are respected.

  • 3-Point Seatbelts: All buses are equipped with 3-point seatbelts for every passenger, ensuring maximum safety during each ride.
  • GPS Tracking: Each bus is fitted with a GPS tracking system, allowing real-time monitoring of routes and locations.
  • CCTV Monitoring: All buses are equipped with onboard CCTV to promote safety and good conduct. Recordings are retained for up to two weeks, unless required for a disciplinary process.
  • Rules & Conduct: In coordination with IFS, ComfortDelGro enforces the behavior and safety guidelines outlined in the school transport handbook.
  • Regular Inspections: Buses undergo routine safety inspections to ensure they consistently meet regulatory and operational standards.

SECONDARY BUS SERVICE

Middle School and High School students

6ème students are registered by default for the 4:15 PM bus (door-to-door service) while 5eme to Terminale students are registered for the 5:15 PM (shuttle service with centralised drop off points).

Parents of students riding the 5:15 PM shuttle are required to select a drop off point through the form below (coming soon).

The cross-transfer option allows students from 5eme to Terminale to take the 4:15 PM bus if their address is served and if seats are available. Similarly, 6eme students may take the 5:15 PM bus if they finish after 4:05 PM. A yearly registration is required.

The cancellation of a class does not allow for any last-minute changes to bus arrangements.

ECAs/HOLIDAY CAMPS

Bus after the ECAs and for Holiday Camps

This service is available only for Kindergarten and Elementary School students (price not included in ECA fees, Camp fees, or regular school bus fees).
ComfortDelGro Bus Transport provides a bus service after ECAs and during Holiday Camps, with centralised pick-up and drop-off points. This arrangement is better suited to the rhythm of activities, as different children may attend on different days for ECAs and on different weeks for Camps.
The service operates from Monday to Friday (including the two Friday ECA sessions). There is no bus service on Saturday mornings.

Please note: Requests from parents to change, add, or create new pick-up or drop-off points will not be accepted. Registration is handled directly with ComfortDelGro Bus at the rate corresponding to the pick-up/drop-off point selected. If certain points have too few students enrolled, they may be closed, and the parents concerned will be informed before the start of ECAs or Camps. The online bus registration link will be shared by the ECA team (for ECAs) and by ProActiv (for Camps). An adult must be present at the afternoon drop-off point for children up to CE1. For children in CE2, CM1, and CM2, the presence of an adult is optional but strongly recommended. Please note that children will not be dropped off in front of individual houses. Parents are asked to arrive at the pick-up/drop-off point 5 minutes early, as buses cannot wait at the locations. Children who are not met in the afternoon (and are not authorised to leave alone) will be returned to school, and a flat fee of $50 will be charged. The parent/guardian will then be required to fetch their child from school as soon as possible.
