A Musical Finale for Our Elementary Students!

As the school year comes to a close, the International French School (Singapore) is delighted to invite parents, students, and members of the educational community to celebrate the end of this wonderful journey with a festive and artistic event, our year-end elementary concert:
Tuesday, 17 June
7:00 PM
Amphitheatre 2900
This highlight of the school year will showcase the talent and commitment of our primary students, who will perform in two distinct musical ensembles—both the result of pedagogical workshops held throughout the year.
On one hand, the Elementary Choir, passionately directed by Suresh Chandra, a dedicated music teacher and experienced choir conductor, will present a carefully curated repertoire, blending timeless French songs with contemporary pieces. This group performance, the fruit of many hours of rehearsal and vocal work, promises to be an emotional and heartwarming experience.
On the other hand, the dynamic Pop Rock Band, led by Virginie Durand, music teacher for CM1 and CM2 and coordinator of the “Pop Rock Group” workshop, will light up the stage with a lively selection of modern hits—performed with freshness, energy, and professionalism. Our young musicians are eager to energize the audience and showcase everything they’ve learned over the past months.
This concert is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the richness of musical education at IFS, the artistic expression of our students, and their ability to collaborate on an ambitious group project.
Admission is free, but reservation is required via the link or QR code available through our usual communication channels.
Do your children love to sing or play music?
IFS offers free educational workshops for both the choir and the Pop Rock band, accessible by audition. Visit the ECA platforms at the start of the school year to find out more or to sign your child up! Click here for the Pop Rock Band and here for the Choir.
We look forward to seeing many of you there to celebrate the creativity and musical passion of our students!
