Parent Workshop by the Counselling Centre (2C)
Raising resilient teenagers can feel both essential and challenging, especially as adolescents navigate academic demands, emotional changes, and increasing independence. As parents, it is natural to wonder how best to support them through these moments.
The Counselling Centre (2C) team is pleased to invite parents to a dedicated workshop focused on understanding adolescent resilience and learning practical ways to support teenagers’ emotional well-being and learning, both at home and at school.
About the Workshop
This workshop will explore:
- Resilience in adolescence
- Understanding the stress response in teenagers
- Practical strategies parents can use to support emotional well-being and learning
Parents will gain concrete tools to help adolescents:
- Cope with challenges and setbacks
- Build confidence
- Develop perseverance and healthy coping strategies
