Enrolment and Diversity Soar as IFS Gears Up for an Exciting New Year
Singapore, 4th September — The International French School (Singapore) (IFS) is delighted to welcome the eagerly awaited return to school for the academic year 2023-2024. With an impressive enrolment of over 2,930 students ranging in age from 2 to 18, IFS is poised to deliver another year of exceptional education across Maternelle, Elémentaire, Collège, and Lycée.
Key Highlights for the start of this Academic Year
Record-Breaking Enrolment: IFS is proud to start the academic year with a robust student body of more than 2,930 enthusiastic learners aged between 2 and 18. This diverse student population represents a vibrant international community, reflecting the school’s commitment to global education.
Welcoming New Global Citizens: IFS is thrilled to welcome some 450 new students from around the globe to its diverse community. These newcomers will bring their unique perspectives and experiences, enriching the IFS learning environment and fostering a truly international atmosphere.
Full Classes and Exceptional Facilities: IFS is excited that it will operate 140 classes filled with eager learners ready to embark on their educational journey this academic year. The school continues investing in state-of-the-art facilities, ensuring students have access to the best resources and learning environments possible.
New Counselling Centre: IFS is proud to announce the launch of the IFS Counselling Centre this academic year. A dedicated and personalised resource designed to nurture our secondary students’ social, emotional, and mental well-being. Committed to providing a confidential and collaborative environment, the IFS Counselling Centre is poised to become an essential pillar in our school community.
Speaking at the start of the new academic year, Mr. David Binan, Proviseur at IFS, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming academic year, saying,” All the teams of the International French school and I are delighted to see you again at the beginning of September 2023; we are also delighted to welcome the new students, including our little ones in Maternelle, who are joining their classmates, bringing the total number of students to nearly 3000, starting or continuing their school journey.”
