✨ First night away from home for our Kindergarten classes! ✨

All the GS (Kindergarten) classes had the wonderful opportunity to take turns spending the night at the Science Centre. For many of them, it was their very first sleepover… and as you can imagine, excitement levels were sky-high!

The programme included water play, hands-on science experiments, sky lanterns, dry ice bubbles, secret colour pouches, and plenty more surprises! 🧪✨🌙

It was an unforgettable evening filled with discovery, laughter, and wide-eyed wonder — an experience they’re still talking about today! A huge thank you to our amazing Kindergarten teaching and support team for making this magical adventure possible.

What a fantastic encounter at IFS ! 🎨

We had the pleasure of welcoming @mascarade_artist , a French street artist 🎭, who came especially from Le Havre 🇫🇷 to meet our students.
He visited several classes to explain his techniques, how he creates his pieces, and to guide the students as they made their own artworks in his style 🎨.

The experience continued with an exhibition open to parents and children 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦, during which he created a live piece and shared his artistic journey and how he became a street artist. It was truly fascinating 🤩.

A huge thank you to Mascarade for his generosity and to everyone who made this event possible 🙏.
And of course — congratulations to all the students for their absolutely breathtaking creations 👏

🌸✨ A look back at the “Gardens in the City” exhibition ✨🌸

Our CP students had the joy of presenting the results of several weeks of artistic work based on the theme “Gardens in the City.”

Throughout the sessions, they explored shapes, materials, colours, and gave free rein to their imagination, bringing to life gardens that are as poetic as they are unexpected. 🌿🎨

The outcome is simply stunning: an exhibition full of colour, texture, and creativity, reflecting the dedication and pride of every student.

A big congratulations to the students and their teachers for this inspiring collective project, and to all the families and classes who came to admire their work. 👏✨

🌍 Earth Week at IFS: What a Week! 🌿

Over several days, students and teachers came together for a series of inspiring eco-actions:

✨ @guillaumelecantinier and his Anti-Waste Team, with a new anti-waste fridge set up thanks to @natixis_corp
✨ @telunas_resorts and the @fondationtaraocean exhibition, raising awareness about protecting our oceans
✨ @decathlonsg, who came to repair students’ and staff’s bikes — thank you, what would we do without you?
✨ @plasticodyssey, sharing the second chapter of their adventures around the world and hosting a great discussion

A special thank you to Fanny De Pra, our SVT teacher, who quite literally crossed the entire campus all week to support these brilliant initiatives.

A week full of energy, engagement and inspiration. Thank you to everyone involved — let’s keep the momentum going after the holidays! 🌱✨

🎶 ChorAsie 2025 – When Freedom Finds Its Voice 🎤

110 students from the French schools in @lyceefrancaisdebali, @lfimargueriteduras, @lyceefrancaisdekualalumpur came together at IFS for an inspiring musical project: ChorAsies.

Focusing on the theme of freedom, they explored a diverse and challenging repertoire—from Coldplay and George Michael to Michel Berger, Daniel Balavoine, and Nina Simone—culminating in a dynamic one-hour concert brimming with energy and emotion.

The students were also fortunate to attend a vocal workshop with international jazz singer @alemayzing, to whom we extend our heartfelt thanks for her generosity and time.

We already knew our students were talented… but just look at these – they’re absolutely stunning 🎨

With so much creativity on display, it was truly impossible to choose just one winner per year group – the decision was a real challenge!
So, we’ve selected 10 winners per level, along with a special “Judge’s Favourite” award ❤️

🎁 Each winner receives a book prize to keep their love of reading going strong.

🎨 A Chair for a Painting – Creativity in 3eme ! 🪑

Our 3eme students took on a unique artistic challenge:
they were tasked with designing a chair inspired by a painting—famous or lesser-known—and presenting it alongside the original artwork.

The results are stunning – beautiful and imaginative pieces that showcase our students’ incredible talent and creativity.

👏 Well done to them, and a big thank you to our art teachers for their outstanding guidance and support!
