A CAMPUS DESIGNED WITH CARE
Our new kindergarten, part of the 80 million S$ campus expansion, was recognised for its innovative design and sustainable vision.
As Singapore’s first zero-energy campus and the first school to receive the BCA Green Mark Platinum (Zero Energy) certification, it embodies our belief that learning environments should support children and the planet.
Built to produce as much energy as it consumes annually, the campus is powered by photovoltaic solar panels generating 300 MWh of clean energy every year.
Key features include:
- Smart cooling systems that adjust to occupancy and climate
- Low-E double-glazed windows and insulated walls that maximise comfort and natural light
- A 547,000-litre rainwater harvesting system for irrigation and flood management
Every design choice, from natural light to outdoor learning spaces, supports well-being, autonomy, and curiosity. This award recognises not just an architectural achievement, but a purpose: a campus where children feel safe, inspired, and connected to the world around them.
SUPPORTING STUDENTS FOR THE FUTURE
IFS was also honoured as International School with the Most Future-Ready Students, celebrating how we prepare learners not just for school, but for life. Future-readiness at IFS is intentional and holistic.
Students benefit from:
- A plurilingual learning pathway (French, English, Mandarin) from age three
- Tailored language support such as the FLSco pathway, ensuring every child finds their voice
- The GAIN inclusion unit, supporting students with diverse learning needs

From Grade 6 onward, students receive:
