GENERAL MEETINGS

At least two General Meetings are held every academic year.

Covered topics

In October/November, the Ordinary General Meeting addresses the following topics:

  • Review of the new academic year and announcement of upcoming projects
  • Presentation of the previous academic year’s examination results
  • The election of the members of the Executive Committee
  • The confirmation of the election of the 6 parents representative of the Educational Committee (Parents Committee) by electronic voting.

In June, the Annual General Meeting addresses the following topics:

  • Review of the academic year’s pedagogy and finances
  • The vote on the school fees is now done during the OGM
  • Approval of the accounts

At the International French School (Singapore), we firmly believe that the involvement of parents is essential in shaping the future of our school.

We invite you to submit your applications to join the prestigious IFS Executive Committee and stand for election during our upcoming Ordinary General Assembly (OGA) on Monday, 27 November!

Why Join the Executive Committee?

The IFS Executive Committee is the administrative and management body of the IFS and it is therefore the heart of our school’s decision-making process. As a member, you will have the chance to:

  1. Influence School Policies: Your insights and ideas will directly impact the policies and decisions that shape the school’s international positioning, and in particular the educational experience for our students.
  2. Participate in Governance: Gain firsthand experience in the governance of our school, contributing to its success and growth.
  3. Strategic Planning: Play a vital role in shaping IFS’s long-term vision and strategic planning, ensuring it remains a leader in French and International education.
  4. Community Building: Strengthen our sense of community by actively engaging in school events, initiatives, and projects.
