THE GOVERNANCE
THE INTERNATIONAL FRENCH SCHOOL (SINGAPORE) IS A SINGAPORE REGISTERED PRIVATE NON-PROFIT ORGANISATION, LINKED BY A CONVENTION WITH THE AGENCY FOR FRENCH EDUCATION ABROAD (AEFE).
IFS is governed by the following bodies:
- The Executive Committee, headed by the President, oversees the management of the school to the exclusion of purely pedagogical matters. All its members are volunteers so they do not receive any financial compensation from the school for their time. They are elected by the Members of the International French School (Singapore) at the General Meeting. The Executive Committee represents the community of parents as well as the companies that hold Options de Fondateur (ODF).
- The Educational Committee, headed by the Principal, examines everything that is related to the school life and particularly teaching matters.

You can participate in the governance of the school as a volunteer:
- by being elected within the Executive Committee as a representative Member of the parents or the companies holding ODF
- by being elected within the Educational Committee as a representative of the parents
