IFS is excited to announce that SIMUN’s 18th edition is back!

SIMUN XVIII

16 – 18 February

IFS was the first school to organise an MUN (Model of United Nations) event for students in Singapore and we are happy to be able to carry out this event again this year on our school’s grounds.

On this occasion, students from local international schools and from other French Schools in the Asia-Pacific AEFE network come together to experience an educational simulation of a real United Nations conference. 

This is a popular event for those who want to learn more about the United Nations, shaping the leaders of tomorrow by teaching them how to get their voice heard on issues that matter. This unique event offers students the opportunity to explore international relations and engage in meaningful debate about global issues.  

A MUN is a great activity for students:

• to meet students from all over the world and from other schools,
• to overcome their fear of public speaking, 
• to become acquainted with diplomacy and international issues, 
• to enhance their leadership skills,
• to enjoy themselves,
• to leave the conference feeling more empowered to make a difference in our world.
